About Saliva
Saliva is an American rock band from Memphis formed in 1996 who became synonymous with the nu-metal and post-grunge explosion of the early 2000s with their aggressive, radio-ready anthems. Their breakthrough album "Every Six Seconds" (2001) spawned massive hits like "Click Click Boom" and "Always," while "Back Into Your System" (2002) delivered the chart-topping "Always" and cemented their place in mainstream rock. Led by vocalist Josey Scott's distinctive raspy delivery, Saliva mastered the art of heavy, hook-laden rock that dominated sports arenas and WWE programming, with songs like "Ladies and Gentlemen" and "Superstar" becoming staples of early 2000s rock culture. Though their commercial peak has passed, the band continues releasing albums like "Rise Up" and "Love, Lies & Therapy," maintaining their blue-collar Memphis rock identity across nearly three decades.
