When I feel like my whole world has collapsed and life isn't worth living, I listen to Owl City. I can always rely on his incredible melodies, gorgeous lyrics, and beautiful, beautiful voice to make me feel like I can hold on a little longer. This song...it makes me feel brave, like no matter how badly life is going, I still have the strength to go on. The line "If the bombs go off, the sun will still be shining, because I've heard it said that every mushroom cloud has a silver lining," is...wow. The first time I heard it, I thought, "What a genius." That is the most beautiful lyric I have ever heard. Adam Young is my reason for life.

WWI. a soldier. 'on the wet ground'- the rain in the trenches, it was very bad in those times of war for the soldiers.'every mushroom cloud has a silver lining' - LOVE IT. this such a lovely song.. PERFECT. great job with the melody, not too sad of a song because of the upbeat, sorta makes you see the ups to things rather than focusing on the terrible aspects of them. once again, owl city is great and i hope they continue to play this enlightening music, and pass on the lovely message that people have a wonderful reason to live. Owl City is the impressionist group of our time:)
