Charli xcx Makes Outside Lands Debut as 2026 Headliner
Charli xcx will headline her first-ever Outside Lands appearance when the San Francisco festival returns to Golden Gate Park August 7-9, 2026. The hyperpop icon joins RÜFÜS DU SOL, The Strokes, The xx, and Baby Keem atop a diverse lineup spanning electronic dance music, indie rock, and hip-hop across three days in the Bay Area's most celebrated music festival.
The 18th edition of Outside Lands maintains its status as America's largest independently owned festival, with founders Another Planet Entertainment and Superfly curating an eclectic roster that reflects modern music's genre-blending landscape. Australian electronic trio RÜFÜS DU SOL returns after previous acclaimed performances, while New York garage rock veterans The Strokes make another festival appearance. The lineup balances established acts like Death Cab for Cutie and Modest Mouse with rising stars including GloRilla and Ethel Cain.
Electronic music takes center stage at the dedicated SOMA area, featuring house and techno specialists Boys Noize, Lane 8, and Boris Brejcha. The festival continues its Bay Area tradition of celebrating cannabis culture through Grass Lands, now in its eighth year, alongside food and beverage experiences including Wine Lands and Beer Lands that showcase Northern California's culinary scene.
Ticket presales begin immediately for past attendees through the Loyalty Presale system, with Chase cardholders accessing a separate presale window. General admission tickets go on sale March 5 at noon Pacific Time, with pricing starting at the lowest tier for early purchasers across all presale periods.
