About Kashmir
Kashmir is a Danish electronic rock band formed in 1991 who evolved from alternative rock into atmospheric pioneers blending orchestral arrangements, electronic textures, and progressive rock elements. Their breakthrough album "The Good Life" (1999) and experimental masterpiece "No Balance Palace" (2005) showcased their ability to craft cinematic soundscapes, while songs like "Bewildered In The City" and "The Aftermath" became anthems of Danish rock. Kasper Eistrup's soaring vocals and the band's collaboration with the Danish National Symphony Orchestra elevated them beyond typical rock boundaries, making them one of Denmark's most internationally acclaimed musical exports. Their restless evolution from grunge-influenced beginnings to orchestral grandeur has cemented Kashmir as visionaries who transformed Danish rock into something truly transcendent.
