Salvaging what was a sanctity of mine
A world all to hold, to rule
Where everything was mine
Then ours to take
What's it where I found?
Now I share every precious memory
In this lonely presence
Since I
Wheeled me
As I once burned for life
I long for what I grew to fear
And others turn to faceless walls
So had my path traveled
Where I cannot follow
I reach down into the cold and colorless
As I try to clean the black blood of my hands
Cray
The floor once rich in life
Its feet sway untouched
Its side, effortless
The floor once left
Sway to follow
This grip was firmest to fail me
And my truth is being taken away
Too many cuts too deep
Roads once recognized
Once trodden
Now closing
Slowly it fades into undone
A cortex dissolved
As if it never was
As I once burned for life
I long for what I grew to fear
And others turn to faceless walls
So had my path traveled
Where I cannot follow
I reach down into the cold and colorless
Wondrous to the dust that is covering glass
As this world closes before my eyes
As it skirts me to my solitude
Where my solitude sees no end
As I once burned for life
I long for what I grew to fear
And others turn to faceless walls
So had my path traveled
Where I cannot follow
I reach down into the colorless
Swept across and carried away
Along the unknown
By the nameless
Through the deepest
Past my walls
Where I become
Memory crystallized
As every trace of life is burned
Every once is now forgotten
