The sun shines hot, it melts away my bones, with a burning body underneath my clothes;
My colour's changing, body's losing shade; I'm split in the middle, caught inside the day.
Sister, halving up my life, living almost twice;
Rolling down the dice, I paid the price.
Darkness falls upon my turning face, moonlight calls and sends away the race;
Out she comes to pull me back inside, I've no control, I'm rolling in her ride.
Sunlight feeling soaks away my soul, moonlight creeping, wakes the darker glow;
I am double and I felt it through my life, we are different people, will she come tonight?
